It Was Pop And Glamour At Lagos Fashion Week 2017


It was the bomb at the recently concluded Lagos fashion week.

The Heineken sponsored event which attracted a host of fashion enthusiasts and the big wigs was also an opportunity for young talents in the fashion industry to show case what they 've got.

The ever glamorous event, first launched in 2011, has since committed to nurturing young and uprising creatives on the continent of Africa – a commendable and highly focused initiative which goes a long way to providing opportunities for the continent's young minds through empowerment and job creation.

The 2017 edition of Lagos fashion week themed, "Africa: Shaping Fashion's Future" came to a halt on 28th October, 2017 – but not without featuring runway shows, talks and #HLFDW party.

Like the previous editions, the just concluded show also had in attendance some of the best creatives, designers and models in Africa's surging fashion industry. But, not in the least bit surprising – it's all about showcasing the beauty and ingenuity inherent in African culture and fashion industry.

Oh sure, it's always fun-filled and glamorous!
